Stainless steel-grade alloy, containing approximately 18% chromium and 10% nickel, stabilized with niobium. It has an austenitic structure, providing excellent heat and corrosion resistance, particularly at elevated temperatures. Thanks to the addition of niobium, it resists corrosion while maintaining strength and toughness up to 1050 °C. The alloy also exhibits outstanding oxidation resistance, offering more reliable performance compared to conventional 18/10 steels. Components made from this alloy include aerospace exhaust system parts, chemical processing equipment, fittings, and fasteners, and it is widely used in the energy sector, heat exchangers, and nuclear reactor components.
