Alloy C-276

2.4819 / UNS N10276

A nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with addition of tungsten for exceptional resistance in a wide range of aggressive corrosive media.  The combination of high nickel, molybdenum and chromium contents give excellent resistance to oxidising, non-oxidising and mixed acids while also having resistance to chloride induced crevice and pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.  The alloy finds application in a wide range of processes from chemical processing, pulp and paper production, pollution control systems, waste treatment and for off-shore applications.
