Essen, September 2025 – BIBUS METALS GmbH is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Since its founding in 1990, the company has grown into one of Europe’s leading suppliers of nickel and nickel-based alloys – with a clear focus on quality, availability, and customer service.
Established in 1990 as the first company of the Materials Group outside Switzerland, BIBUS METALS GmbH began its journey in Düsseldorf. Since the turn of the millennium, Essen has served as the company’s headquarters, complemented by a central warehouse in Waghäusel near Mannheim. Proximity to customers and a strategically advantageous location remain key success factors to this day.
Early on, BIBUS METALS GmbH specialized in high-performance materials used wherever stainless steel reaches its limits – such as in aerospace, chemical processing, motorsports, or renewable energy.
