A martensitic stainless steel, 17-4 PH is known for its combination of high strength, good corrosion resistance and ease of fabrication. Corrosion resistance is comparable to 304 stainless in most media combined with high strength achieved through precipitation heat treatment 17-4PH is suitable for service up to ~316C making this grade very versatile for a range of applications.
